Mahgie Dean Murphy

Mahgie Dean Murphy graduated from Santa Clara University after a year of studies in Florence, Italy, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1976. She also studied at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas, concentrating on watercolor as a medium. In addition, she held various positions in advertising for over fifteen years, while still freelancing.

 

Mahgie has created artwork for a wide range of projects. From architectural watercolors to small wood pieces, she works in a variety of mediums and styles. Currently, Mahgie teaches art classes at St. Brendan School in San Francisco – kindergarten through eighth grade; while she maintains a freelance studio.
